About Barkfest -
Come join us for the ultimate doggy day out and celebrate the everyday dog. Free entry! There is something for everyone and every dog, with food, stalls, face painting, photo booths, demonstrations, and competitions for the every-day dog and their best friend including The Great NZ Dog Dash. Inspired by Pooch Racing event held in Cambridge a few years ago, the event is open for entries for dogs of all sizes to race against each other (from one human to another). Also featuring free events in the “Show Ring” including:
- Look a Like Competition - sponsored by Animals Like Us
- Waggiest Tail - sponsored by Waipa District Council Animal Control
- Sit, Down, Stay
- Bark Off
