Get those walking shoes on!
Greyhounds in the Hawkes Bay area walk on the 1st Sunday of each month. This month we’ll be meeting at the corner of Crosses Rd and Napier Rd in Havelock North at 10am for a leisurely stroll along the Karamu stream. You can park on the grass reserve area on the corner which gives access to the stream walk. This walk will take around 40 minutes, less if you just walk part way and turn back. On return we can grab a coffee or morning tea at "Coffee at Crosses" which is dog friendly.
We welcome ideas for our monthly adventures, so if you have a walk you’d like to share with other hounds and hoomans please let our Event Coordinator Maree know, we have 12 spots to fill every year!
GAP walks are open to all adopted greyhounds no matter where adopted from, their canine siblings from the same household, all other sighthounds and of course anyone considering adopting a greyhound through GAP. Please feel free to come along for a “pat and chat” session.
