Happy New Year Waikato hounds and hoomans! Let's start off 2021 with a lovely walk at Taitua Arboretum, meet in the carpark at 10:00am. All dogs MUST be on a lead throughout the walk, please be aware there are chickens and other wildlife freely roaming around.
This is a great summertime walk as there's lots of shade but it is getting hot now so please take some water for yourself and your hound. There is The Village Cafe just down the road in Whatawhata if anyone fancies a coffee stop after the walk.
GAP walks are open to all hounds (not just GAP) and their fur brothers and sisters and we welcome anyone who is considering adopting a greyhound, come along, meet the hounds and stay for a "pat and chat".
