Greyhounds in the Bay of Plenty/Rotorua area walk on the 3rd Sunday of each month. This month we’ll be meeting at the Rotorua Tree Trust (Centennial Park) - assemble in the picnic area within the park, just past Japanese Peace Garden for 10:00am. This is a lovely walk, bring drinks and a snack for a mini picnic afterwards.

ON THE DAY (AT THE WALK) - RED: 1. A maximum of 25 vaccinated people can attend 2. Attendees must show their Vaccination Pass to the walk host 3. You will still need to wear a mask, scan in and maintain 1-meter social distancing
If the status level changes to Orange level you will need to: 1. Wear a mask during the entire walk 2. Scan in on arrival with the QR code provided 3. Maintain 1-meter social distancing between bubbles
We welcome ideas for our monthly adventures, so if you have a walk you’d like to share with other hounds and hoomans please let our Event Coordinator Alison know, we have 12 spots to fill every year!
GAP walks are open to all adopted greyhounds no matter where adopted from, their canine siblings from the same household, all other sighthounds and of course anyone considering adopting a greyhound through GAP. Please feel free to come along for a “pat and chat” session.
