As with all GAP group activities this will be an ON LEAD walk.
Greyhounds in the Auckland area walk on the 3rd Sunday of each month. This month we'll be meeting at The Farmhouse, 400 Papakura-Clevedon Road at 8:45am for a 9am start. The walk will be along a 3 km farm track which is mostly flat with one or two small inclines - there is a shorter option for elderly hounds., note that it could be muddy if there has been rain - so wear appropriate shoes.

Parking - Plenty of parking - follow signs for additional parking behind farm sheds. Cafe on site - lovely lawn, picnic tables and bean bags to enjoy a coffee and delicious food afterwards.
A litte about the venue: The Farmhouse is a rural coffee, bakery and ice cream shop located on a 140 acre farm, 5 minutes from Clevedon Village and 35 minutes south of Auckland City. "In a little white villa overlooking the Clevedon countryside, you can enjoy fresh, seasonal food, organic Kokako coffee, homemade ice cream, and a space to breathe easy and relax. At The Farmhouse we work consciously to minimise our waste, reduce our carbon footprint and care for our land, bees and environment. We are a super casual setting so we don't take table bookings however we have plenty of outdoor seating amongst our garden. Take a walk through the farm, say hello to our friendly animals and make yourself at home. Dogs are always welcome here!"
