**VOLUNTEERS WITH HOUNDS NEEDED, 9am - 2pm**

The Rotary Market at Riccarton Racecourse - 9am-2pm - the largest market of it's kind in New Zealand!  Look out for the GAP flag - we are at one of the covered stalls.

We are at the market on the 1st Sunday of the month (no stall Jun/Jul/Aug), and are always happy to talk all things greyhound, if you've been thinking of adopting your very own couch potato, drop in for a chat!

INFO FOR OUR VOLUNTEERS:

Greyhounds and their humans needed to chat to members of the public and promote GAP and adoptions, we'd love some regular volunteers so please contact David Whale (GAP Canterbury FB page) or Riddhi (riddhi@gap.org.nz) if you can do an hour or two once a month.

The sign says 'No Dogs' but that doesn't apply to us! Please remember to bring poo bags and to toilet your dog away from the stands. There is generally someone happy to houndsit if you want a walk around the 300+ stands. There is an array of fresh produce, art, clothes, second hand furniture etc and food stalls.

The market runs from 9am to 2pm and is a wonderful way to introduce your hounds to events. Stay as long as you like and be prepared to talk endlessly about greyhounds!
