Who'd like a winter walk?
Greyhounds in the Bay of Plenty/Tauranga area walk on the 2nd Sunday of each month. This month we’ll be meeting at 10:30am at Gordon Carmichael Reserve in Tauranga. Avrille and Miss Bella have kindly offered to host this walk. Thank you ladies!
A nice and easy, flat stroll of around 2kms, the walk is on established paths through wetland with lovely bird and wildlife. It’s wheelchair and pushchair friendly with toilets and a playground.
Please meet at the main walkway entrance on Carmichael Road, this is the one where the carpark/playground/toilets are.
Coffee/lunch afterwards will be at The Orchard Cafe/Restaurant/Bar in the Bethlehem Mall. It has a great outdoor area for dogs and they love having them.

We welcome ideas for our monthly adventures, so if you have a walk you’d like to share with other hounds and hoomans please let our Event Coordinator know, we have 12 spots to fill every year!
GAP walks are open to all adopted greyhounds no matter where adopted from, their canine siblings from the same household, all other sighthounds and of course anyone considering adopting a greyhound through GAP. Please feel free to come along for a “pat and chat” session.
