Greyhounds as Pets holds regular walks throughout New Zealand to give our owners the opportunity to catch up and our hounds a chance to socialise with their old mates. All rehomed greyhounds are welcome to attend.
Please note that all walks are on lead. If you do not own a greyhound yet, but are interested in adopting, you are welcome to join in one of the walks to talk to our existing owners and meet their greyhounds.
The first official walk for 2023, we are in the Redwoods and will be going along the Waitawa track (Blue track) which is 3.4km and takes about an hour to complete. Meet outside the information centre for a 10:00am start, afterward, we will go to Sequoia cafe for morning tea/lunch.
