GAP Walk - Auckland

Winter walkies!

This walk kindly hosted by Vanessa and Wiki, thank you ladies!

Greyhounds in the Auckland area walk on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

This month we’ll be meeting at Jack Pringle Village Green (plenty of easy free parking at the Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre carpark off Sailrock Road).  We'll walk down Harbourview Rd to Harbourview Beach Reserve, which has a lovely coastal trail path with views across the water to the city to Harbourview-Orangihina Park.  On return we'll loop round and cut back through some streets to our starting point.  There is a drive through coffee spot in the adjourning carpark or cafes in the main street if anyone wants refreshments.

This walk is on lead, but very dog friendly.

We welcome ideas for our monthly adventures, so if you have a walk you’d like to share with other hounds and hoomans please let Nicky (nicky@gap.org.nz) know, we have 12 spots to fill every year!

We welcome all greyhounds and prospective adopters.  If you are considering adopting a greyhound please feel free to join us for a "pat and chat" session.
