Auckland - Great Global Greyhound Walk

Auckland! Ready! Steady! Let’s WALK!

The Great Global Greyhound Walk 2025 is striding back to the stunning Auckland Domain and we can’t wait to see you there!

• Meet at the Duck Ponds (look for the houndy crowd!)
• Arrive between 9:30 and 9:55 AM
• Walk kicks off at 10:00 AM sharp!
• Parking is a mix of paid and free, so give yourself time to find a spot.

We’ll follow the footpath along Domain Drive, stopping for a group photo outside the Museum, before continuing to the Band Stand where things get extra fun!

• Optional post-walk catch up at the Wintergarden Café – grab a hot drink and a treat and keep the socialising going!

Whether you're a seasoned GGGW-er or joining for the first time, this is a celebration of greyhounds (no matter where they were adopted from) and community. Everyone's welcome – including other sighthounds and non-greyhound fur-siblings.
