Rated the second best "apartment dog" they are the perfect breed for Auckland's ever growing population of apartment and townhouse dwellers; though they are also well suited to the quarter acre yard, life style blocks, and farm living. Greyhounds have even been known to happily live on sail boats, travelling the globe on the waves and stretching their long legs on remote beaches. They truely are one of the worlds most laid back and adaptable pets.
