GAP Adoption Days give you the chance to meet a few adoptable greyhounds, all at once in one location. There is space and time to get to know these dogs, spend some time one-on-one and access expert advice from the GAP team and fellow greyhound owners. Want to come along? Staff and volunteers will be on hand to support introductions and help you to find your perfect match. If you're just greyhound curious, you're welcome to come along and have a good chat with our team of volunteers!

Greyhounds are one of the worlds oldest breeds of dogs. They are loving, friendly, gentle dogs that suit all kinds of lifestyles. Rated the second best "apartment dog" they are the perfect breed for apartment and townhouse dwellers. Equally well suited to life style blocks and farm living or suburban environments of all kinds. Greyhounds have even been known to happily live on sail boats, travelling the globe on the waves and stretching their long legs on remote beaches. They truely are one of the worlds most laid back and adaptable pets.
