Ruby is one of our smaller dainty girl hounds, who is currently living in a foster home where she is learning about being a pet. Despite her size she is strong and sometime stuborn about the direction she would like to be heading - so will need someone able to work with this.

Ruby is very much an indoor dog - loving her bed and naps throughout the day.  And also loves to be close to her humans - seeking out attention and affection often.

She can be initially a bit shy, but once she has decided she is safe and relaxed, she is loves to play, bounding and frolicking, and after she has got the crazies out, she is happy to cuddle and smooch. She has been good with the other hounds at the kennels, and is is learning to approach other dogs politely, although once she has met them, she wants to play. Smaller children and dogs are a liitle too much for wee Ruby, but teens and adults will be just fine her her.

Ruby is also luckily very food driven - so this will help with training and rewards in the future.

Life will not be boring with Ruby around!
