Roger

Update from his foster family:

"He is such a cool boy, don’t tell any of the other fosters but I think he is my favourite!

He has springs in his legs,  If something interesting on the other side of the fence he jumps on two legs along the fence. He can manage steps no problem but always prefers to jump.

He is extremely confident, new things are exciting not scary like most greys. On walks he likes us around but doesn’t seek reassurance from his foster sister or us. He is great on the lead even when excited.

He has been great with our son and the neighbours boys, has had cuddles with little children when out walking and has been awesome. He loves cuddles. He sits next to or on us when ever he can. Leans his head on us and looks up at us with pure admiration...It melts your heart.

He is used to most noise, but dogs barking still gets him excited.

He enjoys watching the world go by from the window in the sun room and I think this is helping him to get him used to many things especially seeing other dogs. He loves loves the car and tries to get into strangers cars if the door is open.

He has discovered comfort and loves to snuggle with his family and friends. He has been pretty easy to train at home.  Loves to please, comes when we call his name and learnt house rules. He Is not food motivated at all.  Cuddles and praise are what he is after.

He is fine with the chickens leaves them be but hasn’t met them up close yet"

Meet Roger Federer - the greyhound version!

Roger loves car trips to the dairy with his greyhound and dachshund mates.

He loves to stand and be brushed and will lean in for cuddles.

Roger is a confident chap on the more outgoing side and looking for an equally confident family to show him what pet life is all about.

He has little white socks and a long tail with a white tip.
