Art "The Thinker" has fallen on his paws and is being cared for in a foster home where he is enjoying life and learning about being a pet. He is living with 2 greyhound siblings who are teaching him that life doesn't have to be as scary as he thinks it is!

Once he gains his confidence with you, Art is very affectionate, and loves to be patted and brushed. He has generally low to medium energy levels and is respectful to the other dogs in the home. He is slowly becoming more playful as he gets used to all of the new noises, experiences and people that he encounters as his world is being widened. He loves water play!

Art is currently lucky enough to be living in a rural area where he can stretch his legs on the large property, and we envisage he would be well suited to a similar environment in his furever home. 

Art's ideal future family will have a fairly quiet and calm home environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with some predictability around people and routines. With calm handling, he will be a rewarding addition to your family. We also think he would like to have a gentle doggy sibling, and if that just happens to be another greyhound, all the better! We think young family members would be too much for this boy.
