MADDIE IS LOOKING FOR A SPECIAL HOME 

Miss Maddie has been living in a pet home since the beginning of the year and due to unforeseen circumstances and a heavy heart her family are looking for new digs for Maddie. 

Ideally we are looking for a home with Maddie with another dog as she loves playing with other dogs. She can be trained to live with cats and could live with dog savvy children. 

Due to medical reasons Maddie's adoption fee is waived. She has previously sustained trauma to both of her hocks, vets have given her a good prognosis and she's been leading a normal pain-free life. Please contact abbie@gap.org.nz if you would like to know more. 

Maddie is quiet, but very playful. She’s can be a little reserved around new people and situations but warms up quickly. Maddie needs a slow introduction to large/loud situations. She’s not overly interested in children and is cautious of our cats. She enjoys squeaky toys, likes to throw shoes around, and is obsessed with food. She would be happiest in a calm environment with some companionship, either dog or human, and space a comfy bed, because she’ll spend most of her time there. Her 3 favourite things are sleeping, eating, and squeaky giraffe. She’s very snuggly, but cannot be trusted with shoes if she feels enough attention has not been bestowed.
