Roo
Roo is a beautiful 10-year-old greyhound looking for a calm, loving home where she can enjoy her retirement years. She may have very few teeth and only half a tail, but she has an enormous amount of love to give.
Roo is an easy-going companion who loves being close to her people. Most of her day is spent snoozing in sunny spots around the house, with a couple of gentle walks and the occasional joyful zoomie. She doesn't need a busy lifestyle, just a comfortable bed, gentle exercise, and someone to share her days with.

Health & Care Roo has an old stress injury that can occasionally cause a limp after overexertion, but it settles with rest. For this reason, she should stay on lead during walks, as big zoomies can aggravate the injury. Her recall is also not reliable enough for off-lead exercise.
Vet visits can make Roo anxious due to past trauma involving her teeth and tail, so she takes anxiety medication before appointments.
Her Ideal Home Roo would thrive with someone who is home often, such as a retiree or anyone looking for a loving companion. She doesn't need a large property or an active household, just a safe, stable home where she can feel secure and loved.
Roo is a sweet, gentle girl with plenty of character and so much affection to give. She is looking for a peaceful retirement with someone who will cherish her.
