Hone has been in a home for 3 years, but his owner is moving overseas and is not able to take him with her, so we are looking for a new home for this gorgeous boy.

He is looking to be a part of a loving family who keeps him included and takes him for short walks often. He loves to get out and go to the park, the pub, and even bunnings. His favourite things are walks, car rides and his spot on the couch! Hone is not a fussy eater, he is fine to be left at home for up to 10 hours, and is not destructive. He is very social, gets on well with all other breeds of dogs, and will actively seek out interaction with everyone he meets.  

Hone loved racing, and would still chase cats, rabbits, chickens etc if he had the chance, so a home where he will not have interaction with, or access to, small fluffy or feathery creatures will be a must! He would be best always walked on a lead to avoid any accidents.

Hone would be a great dog-sibling - he loves other greyhounds as well as other breeds of dogs - but equally, is happy being an only dog. A quiet but reasonably active family would be best for him - he would be great in a home with older children. He is extremely affectionate and loves to be involved.
