Our big kooky boy Lockie is bravely seeking a friend who can help guide him through the transition to pet life one paw at a time. In new situations he can be fairly bashful, like a rabbit in the headlights, but is making big strides in such a short space of time and is thriving in a foster home. 

Lockie loves food and has potential to make a wicked training buddy; he'd enjoy a family that will build a relationship with him, and build his confidence, through fun training games. He's a clever cookie with sharp focus and has impressed us with his loose lead walking training smarts - a big improvement from his sled dog impression upon arrival! 

He's super affectionate and fancies himself a bit of a lapdog. We think toddlers might be too much for the big fella at the moment, but he might be okay with gentle older kids, or in an adult home. No cats please.
