Monty is a laid back low energy cruisy dude seeking a dog experienced home who can show him all that pet life has to offer. 

We think Monty would be happy holding down the fort while you're at work during the day and wouldn't be fussed if you have longer working hours. Equally he'd likely be a well behaved dignified office dog and curl up under your desk for the day. 

He's super affectionate, a great big cuddle bug, and is confident in new places. He likes the finer things in life and the kennel staff make sure he has an extra plush nest (which he appreciates!) 

Monty will need to be an on lead dog in public as after a very successful racing career he's still learning how to greet other dogs politely. Monty can live with children, no cats please. 

Currently he's at foster with a confident male and female hound and a visiting female pitbull.
