George
Dec 26, the day after Santa.....my mum arrived in quick sped, to collect me, I knew it was her, as soon as Ray let me out we decided it was love! I'm going to live in the sunny North, with some doggy siblings and a cat, my Grandma is 81, and I know I'll love her too!
Thanks to my many fans, its been an exciting time for those at the kennels, to have a celebrity around, I'm sure I'll make my mark in the hearts of the Whangarei people, and we'll be seeing more hounds up here as well! Merry Christmas my friends!
Dec 21, an update. George has proved the celebrity of the kennels, he's a big ol darling. Its amazing when trainers come in, and say OMG is that Varvatos, and we hear all bout him, but to us, he's just George. George's mum and dad to be, are really busy, and he just wanted to let his fan club know, that after the fat guy in red has been, he's packing his bags and he'll be heading to his forever home! He's got that many blankets awaiting his arrival, including the flash one that Maureen the clever wee sewer, made specially for gap, I'm sure specially for my gorgeous bod! So roll on Christmas, I'm waiting!
George is the biggest greyhound we've seen, he's magnificent, he is a confident, outgoing dog who likes to play fetch and loves cuddles. His trainer said he was a super race dog, winning Multiple Group races and NZ Stayer of the Year! Woo hoo, go George! Since retiring from racing, he's been at stud, he has progeny currently racing. He's friendly with children, and polite on the lead. George is fine around other dogs, interesting in cats, but with a bit of reminding, we are sure he'll learn they are his pets. George has the waggiest tale, so here's hoping he finds a lovely place to wag it at.
