Johnnie George was his racing name but we have called him George. We got him from Desiree at the end of January and he has settled in very well with us. George loves his walks, sleeping and the odd zoomie. He gets very excited and bounces up and down when we get home from work or as soon as he sees his leash being picked up. He has developed a bit of a digging habit and seems to like raiding our chooks food when we are not looking. He has ventured up our stairs once and could not work out how to come down, so I had to carry him. He has not gone up since then.
Our cats tollerate him and he has never tried to chase them which is really nice. I am sure once winter arrives there will be competition between George and the cats for prime position in front of the fire.
