Honey
Honey is a delightful girl with a gentle and playful personality. She has spent time in a home environment and lived with other dogs. She would be well suited to a home where she had plenty of company and cuddles. Honey is pretty and petite so we are sure she will steal your heart.
Below is an excerpt of a letter from her previous owner - you can see how much Honey was loved but as she was unable to exercise her she decided to return her to GAP,..
My son adopted Beauty - Absolute Honey and called her Honey. He was transferred to Sydney Australia. Honey is such a lovely girl that he tried to keep her. So she stayed with me as my "grand-dog". I am retired and while she adjusted very well to the confined backyard. The only running space she had was indoors, about 8 meters from my laundry door to the sliding door to the deck. Her days were spent in the sun on a 1st floor deck. Evenings were spent on the kitchen floor, until I relaxed on the carpet in front of the TV, then she would snuggle up against my leg with little satisfied groans. Round 9:30 in the evenings she went outside to sleep in her kennel. At my son's she slept indoors. She is very gentle, she passed little Thrush chicks in the garden when they left their nest without chasing them and treated my 12 year old, 4kg Italian Greyhound very gently. She is a quick learner, she started to sit for treats and food by watching my little Italian greyhound and copy her. My garden is just too small, only suitable for the older girls and my son realized it when he came visiting. Then he decided to hand her back in her best interest. It is with sadness that I took her back to GAP because she made me love her. If I had a larger garden or could take her for walks I would have kept her. She is so eager to please and learn, only confused with drop and sit. I know she will bring only love and lots of pleasure to the family that takes her.
