The cats were most unimpressed by Pippi's arrival despite her having excellent manners around them. It took a good few weeks but they have finally accepted that she is here to stay and that they may as well get on with things. Phew! Pippi loves our morning walk, getting very excited as we get ready. We have 4 acres and she loves her afternoon run of silliness around the paddocks. We have been very diligent in training and she has down/stay, on your mat and wait sorted. She is a very quick learner and eager to please. We are still working on recall, its very consistent now at home, and we are working on long lines out and about. People we meet are most impressed by her behavior and personality, she loves meeting dogs and we are working on approaching them calmly! We were prepared for her to have to learn the ropes slowly but nothing seems to faze her much, not even the vacume cleaner or the lawn mower! She is such a wonderful addition to our family, we feel very lucky to have her in our life.
