Bobby

Hello all and a great thank you for giving us Bonnie (Bobby). She is the most loving dog and all 4 of us are very pleased to have her with us. She has been with us for only 2 weeks but has settled in well and feels most comfortable in her new environment. She accepts that the kitchen is an off limit area and now that she has the largest, softest, sheep wool bed, our sofa has not been an issue! She understands when I call out "let's go toilet"and she makes use of the designated area! I have only heard her bark once and that was yesterday when we arranged for a blind date with handsome Hamish! She was VERY pleased. As she prefers not to climb stairs the staying out of bedrooms has not become an issue. Our daughter is very proud as she has taught Bonnie to sit. We love everything about her except her "walking attitude"or better lack of! Neighbours find it rather amusing when we have to pull a race dog around the block. It seems to be a bit of nervousness, stuberness, lack of fitness... Yesterday she met 5 other greyhounds and was actually the pack leader and walking beautifully. It does make me smile. We are signed up for dog school end of January which will be fun. Bonnie follows me around the house, touching my pant leg most of the time. We can cuddle and stroke her all day if we had nothing else to do. Bonnie has found a loving home and we a wonderful pet. Thanks to all involved in GAP who made this possible. The Becks, Napier
