Mathew is a confident, friendly young boy with a happy outlook on life. Full of enthusiasm and always keen to be involved, he's ready to find a family who will enjoy helping him discover everything the world has to offer.

He is well behaved in his kennel, keeps his space nice and tidy, and gets on wonderfully with his kennelmates. Mathew also loves going for walks and enjoys getting out to explore new places.

During his assessment, Mathew was a little overexcited when he first met the assessor's dog and forgot his manners for a moment. It was all enthusiasm rather than anything else, and with more positive introductions and experience, he is expected to continue improving.

As Mathew is still young and wasn't prepared for racing, he is very much a blank canvas. He would benefit greatly from a family who can provide structure, consistency and gentle guidance as he learns how to be a well-mannered pet.

Mathew would suit an active family with older children or a couple who enjoy getting out and about. He would also appreciate having company while he settles into his new home, helping him build confidence and adjust to family life.
