Meet Don

Don is a handsome boy who is slowly learning that the world is full of different dogs. While he can still get a little worked up when he sees other breeds, he has been making steady progress and continues to improve with guidance and positive experiences.

He travels beautifully and is more than happy to hop in the car, lie down and enjoy the ride. Don can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, his friendly, playful and affectionate personality really shines through.

Don walks well on the lead and enjoys getting out and about. He can become a little overexcited when he sees other dogs, so he will need an owner who is confident handling him and committed to continuing the great progress he has already made.

In his kennel, Don is clean, quiet and settles well, making him an easy companion around the home. He enjoys a calm, predictable environment where he can relax and feel secure.

Don would be best suited to a family with previous dog experience and good handling skills. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home and would be happiest in a relaxed household with older children. With the right guidance and support, Don will continue to build confidence and develop positive habits around other dogs.
