Meet Mahala,  

Mahala is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being around her people.  

Mahala is looking for a patient home that can help her build confidence when left alone, as she can become unsettled when separated from her companions. She sleeps well through the night and has shown she can cope with short periods alone, remaining calm and settled when crated. 

She walks nicely on lead and enjoys getting out and about, however she has a strong interest in small animals and is not suitable for a home with cats or small pets. Ongoing management and supervision around small dogs and other small animals will be required. 

Mahala can be sensitive about her personal space, particularly when resting, and would do best with owners who respect her boundaries and understand canine body language. Previous dog ownership experience would be beneficial.

• Could happily live with a compatible male greyhound 

• Understanding of managing her around small dogs and animals

• A home that is mostly carpeted due to being nervous on slippery floors 

Mahala is a lovely girl with lots of affection to give and will flourish with owners who can provide consistency, understanding, and companionship. 

Mahala is currently being adored by her foster family and the resident male greyhound.
