Meet Duke

Duke is a sweet, friendly boy with a gentle nature. He can get a little bouncy when he realises it’s time for a walk, but once he’s out and about, he settles beautifully and walks nicely on the lead. In his kennel he is quiet, patient and very clean, and he gets on exceptionally well with his kennelmates.

He has lovely manners around food and enjoys soaking up attention from his people. During his assessment, Duke showed a lot of interest in the assessor dog, greeting him with his ears and tail up, curious and engaged.

Duke would fit well into most families — he’s easygoing and enjoys being part of daily routines and family activities. Because of his leg injury, he will need a home prepared to manage his activity levels. A small backyard, no stairs, and avoiding high-impact games like chasing balls will help keep him comfortable. He could also live happily with a calm female hound.

Duke is a truly lovely boy who’s ready to be part of a caring home that understands his needs and will enjoy his sweet, affectionate company.
