Meet Kong – Handsome, Friendly and Affectionate

Kong absolutely loves people. He is very friendly, gentle, and super affectionate. He truly enjoys going wherever his people go, and because of this, he loves car rides and travels really well.

Kong also enjoys the company of his hound mates. He did really well when meeting the assessor’s dog—after getting over his initial excitement of meeting someone new, he settled into a nice, calm body.

While Kong often comes across as confident, this isn’t always the case. His confidence can depend on who is handling him at the time, so he will need a little time to settle in and learn what his new life looks like.

Kong’s ideal home would be with a family, with or without children. He is definitely a “quiet environment” type of dog, so a home away from busy roads would be ideal, allowing him to build confidence at his own pace and in his own time. Kong would love a family who is home most of the time—he believes the more time he gets with his people, the better.

Kong is ready for his new forever home. He can’t wait to start his new life full of adventure, love, and lasting memories.
