Meet Riley – Spirited, Playful, and Best as Your One and Only

Riley is a confident girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She walks beautifully on lead and is a pleasure to take out, staying engaged and responsive. She’s tidy in her space, comfortable in a crate, and generally easy to live with.

Once she knows you, Riley is affectionate, cuddly, and wonderfully interactive. She enjoys toys and play — and will sometimes proudly carry her toy along on walks, happily bringing it with her on the adventure. It’s a sweet glimpse of her playful, expressive nature.

Riley would do best as the only greyhound in the home. She has shown she can be okay with small breed dogs and other non-greyhound breeds when introductions are handled appropriately. However, she can be reactive toward other greyhounds and prefers to keep her distance and not to share her home with one.

Riley does resource guard food, so clear feeding routines and boundaries are important for her success and other's safety.

She will suit a medium-activity household that appreciates a dog with spark, confidence, and plenty of affection to give.
