Meet Prince – Regal, Affectionate, and Full of Charm  

Prince is a big, cuddly boy with a striking Roman nose that gives him a truly noble presence. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once comfortable, his playful and affectionate side shines through beautifully.

He walks very well on lead and genuinely enjoys getting out and about. He can be slightly strong at the start of a walk due to excitement, but once moving, he settles into an easy rhythm beside you. At home, Prince can sometimes bark excitedly when people walk past on the footpath. His foster family is currently working with him on this and helping him learn that he doesn’t need to comment on every passer-by.

Prince is a sensitive soul and can feel things deeply at times. He is still building confidence in his new environment and can occasionally be a little stand-offish with his foster, but he also shows moments of outgoing enthusiasm and playfulness as he continues to settle in. He responds well to reassurance, structure, and calm guidance, and with the right support he continues to show steady progress.

He has been good with small dogs and other greyhounds. While he may approach quickly at first, he settles once introductions are made and has shown appropriate judgement in disengaging when needed.

With patience and consistency, Prince is shaping into a lovely companion who will reward his new family with affection and character.
