True to his name (which fittingly means joyful), he has a wonderful zest for life, especially when water is involved. Give him a paddling pool and he’s in his element, splashing about with pure delight and reminding everyone just how fun life can be.

Festus came straight from a very close bond with his trainer, who fostered him and absolutely adored him, describing him as one of the best boys around. Because his world has been fairly small until now, new people and situations are still something he’s learning about. He can be strong on lead and a little self-assured in his approach, but this comes more from unfamiliarity than attitude. With time, positive exposure, and steady handling, he’s expected to become more people-focused and relaxed as his confidence grows.

In the kennels, Festus is clean, quiet, and easy to care for. He enjoys toys, happily entertaining himself, and shows an independent streak that suits someone who appreciates a dog with opinions and character.
