Meet Olive – Gentle, Affectionate, and Quietly Curious  

Olive is a soft-natured girl with a tender heart and a growing confidence. She greets her people with a wagging tail and happily seeks out pats, often standing still to soak up attention or leaning gently into you in classic greyhound fashion. She truly enjoys connection and will quietly position herself close by when she wants affection.

She loves the simple pleasures — stretching out on the grass in the sun, investigating new smells, and enthusiastically accepting treats (she’s very food motivated, which makes her wonderfully responsive). Her curious nature means she enjoys observing the world at her own pace.

Olive prefers a calm, predictable environment and would be happiest as the only dog in the home. She can feel unsure around other dogs and may let them know when she needs space, though she walks politely alongside calm companions when given structure and support. Busy dog parks and off-lead play aren’t her scene; peaceful outings suit her far better.

Olive does experience some separation anxiety, particularly at night, and may whine if crated. She will do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods and where her new family can gently support her in building confidence and security. With patience, reassurance, and time spent together, Olive forms a deeply rewarding bond.

For someone wanting a devoted, affectionate companion who loves pats, sunshine, and quiet company, Olive has a lot of heart to give.
