BBQ

Meet BBQ – Goofy, Affectionate, and Full of Life

BBQ is a striking black beauty with a glossy coat and the softest fur you’ll ever touch. He’s a smoochy, affectionate boy who loves to lean in for cuddles and attention, often greeting you with a big grin and a wagging tail. Around people, BBQ is charming and full of personality — equal parts cuddle bug and clown — and he’s just as happy to entertain himself if you’re busy.

On the lead, BBQ is a delight. He can start off a little excited, but he quickly settles into a lovely rhythm and makes for an easy walking companion. Playtime is one of his favourite parts of the day; he loves tossing toys around, engaging in a bit of tug-of-war, or proudly carrying his favourite toy wherever he goes. When he’s done playing, you’ll usually find him stretched out in the sun, soaking up the warmth and politely requesting tummy rubs.

BBQ has come a long way in learning how to interact politely with smaller dogs. Early on he showed a little too much interest, but with consistent training he’s made excellent progress and now walks comfortably alongside medium-sized dogs. He can still be uncertain around very small breeds, so continued supervision and careful introductions will be important. BBQ will not be suitable for off-lead exercise in public spaces or dog parks, but he’s fantastic with other greyhounds and could happily share his home with one — or possibly a large, calm dog of another breed.

With his goofy charm, loving heart, and playful energy, BBQ will make an incredible companion for someone who understands sighthounds and appreciates a dog with both personality and warmth. He’s truly one of a kind — a big-hearted boy ready to fill his new home with fun, affection, and plenty of cuddles.
