Meet Goof!

Goof has truly come into his own — he’s turning into a happy, playful and wonderfully obedient boy who’s ready to find his forever home!

This charming lad could do well as an only dog, but given the option he may prefer the company of another Greyhound - male or female. Goof loves company, whether it’s human or canine, but he’s also content relaxing quietly once he’s had his fun.

Goof doesn’t enjoy long days home alone, but can manage for around five or six hours on his own. He’s discovered the joy of toys and playtime, both indoors and outdoors, and will happily entertain himself or join in on a game.

He’s a real foodie but his manners have blossomed — he now waits patiently in the kitchen for his turn at dinner.

Goof also has a lovely, affectionate side. He enjoys being near his people and likes to know what’s going on. If you’ve been out of sight for a while, he’ll come find you just to check in and say hello.

This handsome boy has the perfect mix of fun, affection and loyalty. Goof will make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a gentle, playful, and loving Greyhound.

Goof is currently living with his wonderful foster famiily and their two hounds in Upper Hutt.
