Meet Dembe – the Laidback Lounger

Dembe (dem-bee) is a sweet, gentle soul who prefers the quiet life. He’s calm, undemanding, and happiest when stretched out on his bed or sunbathing in a warm spot. Dembe isn’t the kind of dog to demand constant cuddles, but once you've built some trust and let him choose, he'll take you up on the invitation, showing his affection in his own gentle way.

True to his lazy nature, Dembe adores his walks but is just as quick to trot back to his bed when the outing is done. He’s polite on lead, tidy in his space, and overall very easy to handle. In a home, he’ll lean fully into being a couch dweller, content to snooze the day away with you nearby.

When it comes to small dogs, Dembe has made fantastic progress. Early on, he could be a little too sharp or focused, but with patient exposure and consistent handling he’s shown he can now walk politely and calmly alongside them. He’s learning all the right manners and is showing steady improvement with every new experience.
