Meet Dalton – Quiet, Steady, and Endearing

Dalton is a thoughtful greyhound with a calm, reserved nature. He tends to take his time when faced with new situations, but once he feels secure, his gentle and affectionate side shines through. He’s not one to push for attention, which makes it all the more rewarding when he chooses to share those quiet moments of connection.

Polite on the lead and tidy in his space, Dalton is easy to spend time with. He's nearly recovered from having the plate in his leg removed, as it was causing some pain. He's been doing phsyiotherapy to help build strength and keep him comfortable. We’re looking for a special someone who can offer him the calm, supportive environment he’ll need when he's ready to be rehomed.

Dalton is still learning how to manage his focus around smaller dogs, so he’ll benefit from careful introductions and continued guidance. With support, he’s shown he can relax and interact politely once he understands the situation.

He’ll thrive in a peaceful household where he’s given the space to adjust at his own pace. In return, Dalton will bring steady companionship and quiet loyalty—a dog who doesn’t rush into things, but who offers something very special once he trusts you.
