Tessa
Once she overcomes her initial shyness, Tessa reveals herself to be a sweet and affectionate girl. Outside of the kennels, her personality truly blossoms - she becomes more engaging and eager to connect. While she can be a little reserved around other dogs, especially smaller ones that are quick to approach, she gains confidence with time and gentle introductions.
Tessa would thrive in a calm, patient home - either as the only dog or with another dog who can help her feel secure in new situations. What she needs most is time: time to adjust, time to trust, and time to settle at her own pace.
She's been getting along really well with our current fosters daughter, as well as with their daughter's friends, and even got along well with a baby! She's a gem!
