First of all I would say that I was only ever incidental in the dog equation. My Wife (Christine) and Son (Daniel) were completely responsible in acquiring a Greyhound, although I was present about 5 years ago when Daniel was only 8 or 9 insisted that we adopt a Greyhound. We had run into a couple at the pet store in Hamilton.

thought it was possible to. The kids adore her and she is well mannered , she is a constant source of amusement as she from time to time makes off with a sofa cushion or a soft toy and runs around the lawn at full Greyhound Speed. We have taken her on many walks most of them to different and new places and she walks on the lead as well as a show dog. She doesn't pull or lag behind. She has also had a day at the Beach. I suspect this was the first time for her as she did pull at the leash a little with excitement at all the other dogs and people to look at. The little waves made her retreat initially but when she was used to the idea of the water she wanted to go in much deeper that my son without his togs on was game to let her.
In short Skyla is a tremendous dog and has done your organisation proud!!
