Update on Sako (Lara Pinter) and Skyla (Fair to Fine)

Here's a lovely update on Sako and Skyla and the joy two hounds can bring!

After a lot of nagging and discussion we got Sako in March this year, we were very lucky with him as he was so placid and calm and he just did what was asked of him.

He was already under the impression that even looking at other animals smaller than him was not allowed and he still actively avoids looking at them, even our cat doesn't bother him.

Sako developed such a bond with us that he started crying at night and just wanted to be with us. After some more discussion we decided to get another greyhound, to help Sako with not wanting to be alone and because we just loved having him.

We let Irene know we wanted a full blue one, expecting to wait ages as they are quite rare, the next day she called and now we also have Skyla (got her end of May), she was quite young and very puppy like so required a bit more work, but the two got on well straight away.

Skyla is an attention seeking drama queen but Sako has learnt to ignore her most of the time. They both love snuggles and we have trained them to sit, wait for their food and look out if you open the car boot-the race is on. Skyla is learning that she isn't a lap dog (taking some convincing), and they have their bedtime routine sorted.  They even get stories and kisses from our daughter each night. They are just so grateful for the love and affection they receive.
