Update on Misty (Blue - Tata Safari)

We picked up Misty (formerly Blue) 5 weeks ago from the kennels in Cambridge. We fell in love with her from the minute we laid eyes on her. Our first image of Misty was her leaping up and down in the kennels with great excitement and even more height.
Misty was a little anxious when we got her, perhaps because she wasn't sure if she was going to stay with us. We thought the best way to cope with this was to get someone in to teach us some one on one training with her. Boy is she ever a clever girl. Within a couple of days she was doing all the commands she had been taught and we even have her waiting, albeit excitedly, for her meals. The cat training is ongoing and she is not so scared of them now and I am confident by early next year she will realise they are just other members of the family.

We already have a greyhound here, Porter (formerly Honda - Liam Bale), and they love being together. Misty is timid with all other dogs except Porter and it's interesting watching the dynamics between them and the way they interact. Some days they love lying next to each other and at other times they seem to like their space. When I let Misty out in the morning she races around the back yard like a crazy thing as Porter stands there half asleep wondering why she is being so energetic so early.

She has a beautiful nature, absolutely loves her cuddles and to lean against you with all her weight, so much so if you move too quickly she almost falls over. Her roaching skills are fabulous and she likes to regularly show these off to Porter.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful, loving girl.
