Jake has been with us over two years now and what a perfect boy he is! We do loads of beach walks and runs in the park, FUN, and on Mondays we even meet up with a few hound friends and go walking up a big hill, usually there are around 5 dogs :-)!!
Recently Jake got a new brother! He is super excited about it now and happily stays at home with
Jake (brindle) and his new brother Zeke (black)
his new bud. He never liked being alone so it has all gone down well.
He loves to run with his new mate and gets all excited when out and about. Having a new brother has turned our lazy 5 year old couch potato into a bouncy dog!!
We also went to the Animates open day where we saw sheep... they were fun to watch! We got to meet new people and pets and the radio guy at the stall next to us gave all the dogs a sausage from the sausage sizzle, yum yum!!
Jake is becoming a clever boy with doing tricks now. We can give standing cuddles and hi fives! He loves to learn things and I find him a dream to teach. It's always good when you have a foodie dog.
All four of us have been on holiday in Kaiteriteri too. It was great to take the dogs and have them stay with us as we wouldn't go away without them. We had lots of time at the quiet beach.
Next task with the boys is maybe attending agility! I don't think Jake will be too into it but I think Zeke will. I have had him at doggy daycare and he will jump up on things when I ask him to so maybe he would enjoy it! we will see :-)
We are so glad to have 2 greyhounds now it is so much easier.
