Harvey has been with us for four and a half months now but it feels like he has been here forever. He is a big, beautiful, smoochy boy who loves to be on the sofa with his head pressed against your leg. As I type this he is resting his head on my arm, which is making typing rather difficult! When out on walks Harvey will go out of his way to cuddle up to anyone who even looks like they want to say hello. With two greyhounds we are very well-known in the neighbourhood! He also loves playing with balls, and will chase a tennis ball or squeaky air ball around for ages. Our blue and white girl Emmie accepted Harvey into her life very quickly. After telling him off a few times for being a bit over enthusiastic and boxing her in she deigned to share her bed and sofa. They co-exist quite happily, even choosing to lie side-by-side to chew on their bones. The morning routine involves me getting up, walking them, feeding them, and them joining my husband on our bed until he gets up as well. Harvey is doing great at basic obedience and has quickly learned to be polite around other dogs. He lives peacefully with our three cats. He loves to sniff at them, but they have hissed at him a few times and he has accepted they are in charge. We couldn't imagine our lives without our big sook, or his beautiful sister!
