Snowflake's Blog Part 4

My favourite toy is Monkey. Here is a picture of me; I love snuggling into my bed and falling asleep cuddling Monkey.

My foster parents are landscaping our front section. They have done lots of digging which I wish I could help with, but my foster parents say I am not allowed to. Instead I like to lie on the dirt. I slowly go from being a white dog to a brown dog!

For Greyhounds as Pets National Appeal Week, a Greyhound Fashion Parade was organised! There was a competition and lots of hounds entered dressed up in their finest attire. I didn't enter the competition, but I asked my foster parents if I could get dressed up to celebrate and pass on my congratulations to all those who entered. Here I am getting ready for one of my photo shoots!

All dressed up

My foster parents told me the Greyhound Fashion Parade was inspired by the Trussardi Hounds. Here is my Trussardi Hound impression!

Sadly, this is the last blog I will be writing. However, it isn't all bad news and I am sure it isn't the last you'll hear of me!

My foster parents have helped me become a confident and happy dog. They loved me as if I was their own, showed me patience and allowed me to be the greatest dog I can be. They helped me learn everything I need to know to head out and start my new role as an assistance dog in my "forever home€. I am still awaiting my final placement, but it isn't far away now! I was sad to leave my friend Ada, Hazel the cat, and my foster parents. However, I am excited to go on and assist people who need me. GAP and KFAAA (Kotuku Foundation Assistance Animals Aeotearoa) have given me an opportunity I am fortunate to have. I thank them for this.

This is my favourite photo of my foster mum and me on the day I left.
