It was the night before Christmas, and GAP was quiet indeed
There wasn’t a Greyhound in sight, not even a Rehoming Team Lead
Collars, leads and Christmas stockings had been hung with care,
Because it was that very special time of year…..
The Hounds were all snuggled up warm and cozy in their lovely foster homes,
While Abbie, Christina, Rachel, Marie and Bec get a break from answering their phones
And Lucy, GAP’s General Manager Extraordinaire,
Is enjoying a holiday after a busy year
Nicky and her team of volunteers are spending some family time,
Because the work they’ve done this year has been sublime
Lisa has been wrapping and packing tirelessly which has meant,
That all your Christmas orders have now been sent
Emelia and Daniel from the Marketing Team,
Will be busy filling their bellies with pud and brandy cream
A big Christmas thank you to all our Board Members,

Santa has adopted a Greyhound and named her Shirley,
So, he decided to give GAP their Christmas present early
A gift so great it made Lucy gleam,
We are so excited to welcome Hope Rogers to the team
