From the Chairman of the Board, Alastair Donald.
Greyhounds as Pets wishes all the best to Diana Anderson who has tendered her resignation as General Manager, effective from 18 November, 2020.
For almost five years, Diana has been an important part of the Greyhounds as Pets community, first as the Regional Coordinator for Waikato, BOP & Taupo, and then as General Manager for the last two.
Diana’s tenure as General Manager involved a period of significant change for Greyhounds as Pets. We needed to convert from kennel managers to an operation purely focused on rehoming, while simultaneously being asked to at least double our adoption levels. Diana has helped guide our team through what was at times a challenging path, to the point where we are implementing those key initiatives.
The Board also recognises the effort Diana has also put into building positive relationships with Greyhound Racing NZ in what was also a time of great change for them.
One of the constant messages about Diana was her care and passion for our greyhounds. Please join us in wishing Diana the very best in her future endeavours.
Greyhounds as Pets is beginning the replacement process now for a new General Manager and candidate recruitment will start shortly.
