Jet has fitted into city life with absolute ease! Yes he has had a couple of accidents inside but on the whole he has been amazing. Vacuum cleaner, dish washer, TV, hair dryer are all no problem. I showed him how to get up the steps once into the house and he has never looked back. He has started to have a few insane moments with a soft toy and has us in fits of laughter. One of our cats has given him a hard time and we have had some blood curdling yelps from him and the cat hasn’t even made contact with him!! The cat has had him cornered in a bedroom a number of times and he has had to wait it out until the cat has lost interest before being free and finding help from a human person. Needless to say he has a healthy respect for small furies. He is shy around new people and of course loud trucks, busses and cars send him dancing but he is so much better with daily exposure to these things. He seems to love food and frozen chicken carcases are a real treat on these hot days. He has fitted into the family like a hand in a glove. We love him to bits and couldn’t be more happy to have a hound and that is coming from cat people! :) Our neighbours are surprised to see that we have a dog because they don’t hear him bark. All round he is the most lovely affectionate dog!!!
