- VOLUNTEER EVENT COORDINATORS:
Are you someone who loves organising, planning, and bringing people together? Do you have a knack for creativity and innovation? Then our Volunteer Event Coordinator role is perfect for you! As a Volunteer Event Coordinator, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work with other volunteers in your area, organising monthly walks, supporting gap at local events, and contributing fresh ideas to our community. You'll be the heartbeat of our events, liaising with Dawn, our national events and volunteer coordinator, to create memorable experiences for humans and houndies alike!
We are looking for coordinators all across New Zealand to help nourish the love and knowledge around Greyhounds - think that could be you?

But what if you have a houndy who isn't keen on social gatherings, or if you don't have a greyhound of your own but would love to be around these magnificent creatures more often?
That's where our Greyt Friends program comes in!
- GREYT FRIENDS:
Whether you're a proud houndy parent or simply an admirer of these majestic dogs, you can join us as a Greyt Friend and make a meaningful impact in our foster program.
As a Greyt Friend, you'll have the opportunity to attend our events and lend a helping hand whenever needed. But that's not all! You'll also play a vital role in supporting our Foster Program. Picture this: You might be called upon to take a foster houndy for a walk when needed, or to bring a fostered houndy to an event when their foster parent can't make it. Your kindness and support will provide much-needed assistance to our foster carers and Volunteer Event Coordinators.
