20/2/2020 Ernie has settled in well, he is a lovely dog and is a delight to look after.  Whoever adopts him will be a very lucky person. He loves his walks down to  the beach and is sociable with every dog he meets and is quite the gentleman.He is also quite relaxed with large animals like ponies.We are learning how to negotiate stairs and steps and now have mastered the art of getting into the car without human assistance.He seems reasonably smart and is picking up "pet " life quickly.

Ernie is an outgoing and confident boy, full of energy and excitement. He is motivated by both food and toys and is very affectionate. Due to his energy levels he would be best with older children that he can play with and/or an equal doggy playmate. He is a bright dog and will require daytime company and stimulation to prevent boredom.
